I recently finished a series of drawings based around, for lack of a more succinct term, disposable images. By that I mean very simple, straightforward images that are either common or overlooked as a small part of every day. These images are ornament at a base level. They are a thread in the larger fabric of a shared visual language. Presented in flash style pages, these drawings attempt to remove all context and utility from these images and allow them to be enjoyed simply for what they are. 

I was very excited to contribute to a group show to benefit my friend Kevin Nimick’s continued recovery from testicular cancer. This set of a dozen drawings all sold that evening. I’m really looking forward to making more of these.
